Larvae of a species of darkling beetle, Tenebrio molitor.ßThese worm like-larvae are perfect for smaller reptiles. They have a harder exoskeleton than other insects and feeding too many may cause impaction, so make sure to rotate the insects you feed. They also make great treats for hamsters, gerbils, and rats, especially mothers, and several species of wild bird. Size: 3/4 – 1 inch.
