Description
UPC:23
Large crickets , Acheta domestica. One of the most common insects used as a live food, as they are available in various sizes and are usually readily taken by reptiles. Crickets should form the basis of a diet rich in a variety of other insects, as feeing too many of one thing can lead to nutritional imbalances and health problems. Crickets are high in protein and other essential nutrients, and still need to be supplemented with vitamins and minerals for optimal health of your reptile. They also make great treats for hamsters, hedgehogs, mice, rats, and some species of fish. Size: approximately 3/4 inch and up (we get new insects on Tuesdays, so they get larger later in the week.)
